Jett is a "powerhouse" of a bi-black dog! He inherited his sire's outgoing, confident, "look at me" attitude! Jett has matured into a stunning adult. He is currently being shown by Jim in conformation, herding, and agility...all at the same time! In herding Jett has a nice wide working style, and in agility he has an unusually high toy drive!
Jim showed Jett in conformation to his first 12 points (including a specialty major). On 7-10-10, our good friend and collie breeder, Laura Bergstraser, took Jett to the California shows and finished his Championship!!! We are so grateful to Laura for her wonderful care of Jett and for showing him to his final major! In herding, Jett earned his AHBA HRDII (Herding Ranch Dog II) title with two High-in-Trial awards. He is currently competing at the Excellent level in AKC herding trials, where Jim's goal for him is a herding championship. Jett is also Jim's all-around farm dog. He is one very busy boy...and he LOVES it that way!
